Czech sound engineer Viktor Prasil has won the BAFTA award for the best sound for his work in the film All Quiet on the Western Front.
The new film adaptation of Erich Maria Remarque’s book has won seven awards—the most ever for a non-English language film. Much of the film was shot in Czechia, including the Baroque German Embassy in Prague and the trench scenes in Milovice, nearly 50 kilometers from the capital.
