Time of Transformation – What Will the Europe of the Future Look Like?

On Tuesday, September 2 at noon, the 34th Economic Forum will open its doors at the Gołębiewski Hotel in Karpacz. Recognized as one of the largest and most influential economic and political events in Central and Eastern Europe, the Forum’s Main Partner is the Marshal’s Office of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship.

This year’s motto — “Time of Transformation – What Will the Europe of the Future Look Like?” — reflects the urgent need for strategic autonomy, a new security architecture, and a balanced approach to climate goals, energy security, and industrial competitiveness.

Over 6,000 guests are expected, including political leaders, business executives, academics, and NGO and cultural representatives. The program features 500+ events — plenary sessions, panel discussions, author meetings, workshops, press conferences — covering AI, cybersecurity, healthcare, regional development, economy, international politics, society, and sustainability.

Traditionally, the Forum will open with the presentation of the SGH and Economic Forum Report 2025, the most comprehensive study of the economy in Poland and the CEE region. Another key part of the event is the 16th Healthcare Forum, a platform for discussing innovation, financing, and regulation in the medical sector.

The gala evenings will honor the Person of the Year, Company of the Year, and NGO of the Year, along with the winners of Poland’s Local Government Financial Ranking.

The Economic Forum is organized by the Foundation Institute for Eastern Studies, with the Marshal’s Office of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship as Main Partner.
